Total Coat® is a brand of innovative coating solutions
for the Automotive & Marine Industry. The complete line of
environmentally-friendly, spray-on products are specifically formulated
as excellent anti-corrosion and abrasion-resistant
coatings and to provide superior acoustical enhancement through
noise reduction & vibration dampening.
All Total Coat products are waterborne, and have many
clear advantages over asphalt/rubber
and solvent-based products which are environmental pollutants.
Application and clean-up are safe and easy as the products are
non-flammable, have no solvent-emissions and are practically odourless.

Manufactured under stringent ISO
9001 & QS-9000 standards, Total Coat products are used
in Venezuela as Original Equipment Material by General Motors,
Ford Motor, Mack Trucks, Mitsubishi Motor Company and IVECO. They
are also successfully sold in the aftermarket through GM, Ford,
Chrysler and Toyota dealerships, paint & body shops and automotive
parts retail stores.
Total Coat® products meet or exceed the following
industry standards of performance:
- ASTM-E756 Standard Test for Acoustical Performance required by major car manufacturers.
- GM4298P Salt Spray Mist Corrosion Test of 336 hours (equivalent to 5 years in normal conditions) and tested successfully up to 500 hours.
- GM9508P Gravelometer Test for automotive anti-chipping performance,
obtaining 10 out of 10.
Our NEW & IMPROVED
formulas (Sound Control, SC Marine, Undercoating & Rust Control)
also make application & curing, fool-proof. Unlike other water-based
products which require a minimum ambient temperatures 22°C
(72°F) and 40% Relative Humidity for success, Total Coat products
can be:
- Applied & cured at temperatures as low as 4.4 °C (40°F).
- Application & curing is not affected by Relative Humidity of the application location.
- Can be frozen & thawed up to three times without losing their characteristics
& quality (facilitates transporting & storage of un-applied
product in original packaging).
And as always they have:
- Strong adhesion to all metal, fibreglass and wood surfaces, whether bare, primed or painted.
- Durable flexibility & elasticity with UV resistance.
- A beautiful finish (100% paint-able if you wish to customize the colour finish).
- High Thixotropic nature: Easy application in any position & angle without dripping or over-spray.
- Environmentally friendly. Non-toxic and non-flammable.
